Rank List Release Date & Time

• The **TNEA 2025 rank list was released today, June 27.

• Live updates started rolling out from 8:00 AM, with full list likely by 10:00 AM IST .

How to Check Your Rank

1. Visit tneaonline.org

2. Click on the “Rank details” link

3. Log in with your Email ID & Password 

4. Download the category-wise and overall rank list PDF

5. Search for your Application ID/Name within the PDF

What the Rank List Includes

The rank list displays:

• Application No., Name, DOB

• Aggregate marks out of 200 (Maths 100 + Physics & Chemistry 100)

• Overall & community rank

• Random number used for tie-breaking.

Normalization & Tie-Break Rules

• Scores are normalized across different boards to ensure fairness.

• Ties are resolved via a strict order:

  1. Higher Maths marks

  2. Higher Physics marks

  3. Optional subject performance

  4. Older DOB

  5. Higher TNEA random number.

Next Steps: Counselling & Choice Filling

• Choice filling opens in early July based on your rank

• Counselling happens in multiple rounds, including special reservation & general rounds, usually July–September

• Steps include:

  1. Pay counselling fee

  2. Submit preferences

  3. Lock choices

  4. Seat allotment & reporting

• If you spot errors, you can file a grievance between June 28–July 2 via the TNEA portal or TFC centers.
