ISRO Scientist (Engineer) Recruitment 2025
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the ISRO Scientist Recruitment 2025 is as follows:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Computer Science & IT with at least 65% aggregate from an AICTE-recognized institution.
- Must have passed GATE 2024 or 2025 in EC, ME, or CS.
- Age should be between 21 and 28 years as of May 19, 2025.
- Upper age relaxation: 3 years for OBC-NCL, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PwBD.
Application Fee
- General/OBC (Male): ₹250 (non-refundable)
- SC/ST/PwBD (Male) and All Female Candidates: No fee
Selection Process
The selection process includes Shortlisting based on GATE score and an Interview. Shortlisting will follow a 1:7 ratio (441 candidates total).
Interview consists of:
- Technical Knowledge: 40 marks
- General Awareness & Communication Skills: 20 marks each
- Comprehension & Academic Achievements: 10 marks each
Minimum passing marks: 60 (General), 50 (PwBD)
Final selection will be based on 50:50 weightage of GATE Score and Interview.
Pay Scale
Monthly Basic Pay: ₹56,100 (Level 10 as per 7th CPC)
Includes DA, HRA, TA, Medical Facilities, Pension Scheme, etc.
