HP Board Result 2025: HPBOSE 10th & 12th Exam Marksheet

The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education’s official website will host the results of the HPBOSE 10th and 12th Exam 2025. Participants in the Matriculation and Intermediate exam for the 2024–2025 academic year should be aware that the results will likely be made public in May 2025.

Result Update

Students who participated in the HP Board Class 10 and 12 Exam 2025 should note that the evaluation of answer sheets is currently underway. Once completed, results will be released. After publication, students will be able to check their subject-wise scores and qualification status using their Roll Number.

Candidates from Science, Commerce, or Arts streams must meet the minimum passing criteria in both theory and practical exams to be declared successful.

How to Check?

  1. Visit the official HPBOSE website: http://hpbose.org/
  2. Click on the ‘Examination Result’ link in the header menu.
  3. Find and click on ‘HPBOSE 10th & 12th Exam 2025 Result’.
  4. Enter your Roll Number and submit to view your result.

Passing Criteria

Class 10

  • Theory-Only Subjects (English, Hindi, Math, Social Science):
    • Total: 80 marks | Pass: 26 marks
  • Theory + Practical Subjects (e.g., Science):
    • Theory: 60 marks → Pass: 19 marks
    • Practical: 20 marks → Pass: 7 marks
  • Overall: Must score at least 33% per subject (theory + practical combined).

Class 12

  • Theory-Only Subjects (English, Hindi, Math):
    • Total: 80 marks | Pass: 26 marks
  • Theory + Practical Subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology):
    • Theory: 60 marks → Pass: 19 marks
    • Practical: 20 marks → Pass: 7 marks
  • Overall: Must score at least 33% per subject (theory + practical combined).

What’s Next?

Marksheet & Provisional Certificate

  • Marksheet and provisional certificate will be distributed at schools 4–6 weeks after the result declaration.

Rechecking / Revaluation

  • Rechecking: Marks are recounted (Class 10 & 12).
  • Revaluation: Full re-evaluation of answer sheet (Class 12 only).
  • Applications available online for 10–14 days post-result with a fee per subject.

Supplementary (Compartment) Exam

  • Available for students failing in 1 or 2 subjects.
  • Held in June-July 2025.
  • Application via school with applicable fee.
  • Passing allows students to receive a pass certificate within the same year.
