The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education’s official website will host the results of the HPBOSE 10th and 12th Exam 2025. Participants in the Matriculation and Intermediate exam for the 2024–2025 academic year should be aware that the results will likely be made public in May 2025. How to Check the HPBOSE 10th/12th Exam 2025 Result
Step 1Go to the official website of the Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education: http://hpbose.org/
Step 2Look for the ‘Examination Result’ option in the header menu-bar and click it.
Step 3Click on ‘HPBOSE 10th & 12th Exam 2025 Result’ and you will be redirected to the result checking page.
Step 4Enter your Roll Number and hit the Submit button to check your result.

Passing Criteria

Class 10
  • Subjects with Only Theory (like English, Hindi, Math, Social Science): Total Marks: 80, Minimum Marks to Pass: 26
  • Subjects with Theory + Practical (like Science): Theory (60 Marks) → Minimum: 19 Marks, Practical (20 Marks) → Minimum: 7 Marks
  • Overall Pass Requirement: At least 33% in each subject (theory + practical combined)
Class 12
  • Subjects with Only Theory (like English, Hindi, Math): Total Marks: 80, Minimum Marks to Pass: 26
  • Subjects with Theory + Practical (like Physics, Chemistry, Biology): Theory (60 Marks) → Minimum: 19 Marks, Practical (20 Marks) → Minimum: 7 Marks

What’s Next?

Marksheet & Provisional Certificate

After the results are declared:

  • Students will receive a Marksheet showing subject-wise marks.
  • A Provisional Certificate will also be given as temporary proof until the original certificate arrives.
  • These documents will be distributed at the school 4-6 weeks after result declaration.
Rechecking / Revaluation
  • If a student is not satisfied with their marks, they can apply for Rechecking or Revaluation.
  • Rechecking: Only marks are recounted.
  • Revaluation: Answer sheet is fully re-evaluated (only available for 12th class).
  • Forms for Rechecking / Revaluation will be available online on the HPBOSE official website for 10 to 14 days after result release.
  • Students will have to pay a fee for each subject.
Supplementary (Compartment/Supply) Exam
  • If a student fails in 1 or 2 subjects, they can appear for the Supplementary Exam (Compartment Exam).
  • This exam is conducted by HPBOSE in June-July.
  • Students must apply through their school and pay the required fee.
  • Passing this exam will allow the student to receive a pass certificate in the same year.
