BPSC Teacher Recruitment Examination 4.0 (TRE 2025)

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will release the official notification for Teacher Recruitment Examination 4.0 in May 2025. The exam will be held offline across multiple levels: Primary (Class 1–5), Middle (6–8), Secondary (9–10), and Senior Secondary (11–12).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Class 1 to 5: Intermediate + 2-year DElEd or 4-year BElEd + CTET/BTET Paper 1
  • Class 6 to 8:
    • Intermediate + 4-year BElEd/BSc-BEd/BA-BEd/BCom-BEd/ITEP + CTET/BTET Paper 2
    • Or Graduation + 2-year BEd/DElEd or 3-year BEd-MEd + CTET/BTET Paper 2
  • Class 9 to 10: Graduation + 2-year BEd or 3-year BEd-MEd + Bihar STET Paper 1 OR 4-year integrated degrees + Bihar STET Paper 1
  • Class 11 to 12: Postgraduation + teaching qualification + Bihar STET Paper 2

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age: 37 years
  • Upper age relaxation:
    • 3 years for BC/EBC males and UR/BC/EBC females
    • 10 years for PH candidates
