Educational Qualification
Candidates must have one of the following:
- Matriculation/SSLC + ITI in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT
- Act Apprenticeship in approved trades
- Three-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering
- Engineering Degree holders are also eligible

Minimum Age: 18 years

The starting salary for Assistant Loco Pilot is Rs. 19,900/- (Level 2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix) along with additional allowances such as HRA, DA, Transport Allowance, and Running Allowance.

Candidates must have passed Matriculation / SSLC along with ITI or possess a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering. The age limit is 18 to 33 years as of 1st July 2025. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories.
