Steps to Apply Online for AIIMS NORCET 8 2025
- Visit the official website of All India Institutes of Medical Sciences at https://www.aiimsexams.ac.in/.
- Under the important announcement section, select the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) – 8.
- For new registration, click on ‘Create a New Account’ and enter all personal details such as the candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, mobile number, and email ID.
- A candidate ID and password will be sent to the registered email ID.
- Click on the new ‘Login to Apply’ and enter valid login details (i.e., the candidate’s registered ID or mobile number and password).
- Fill in the educational details like the qualifying exam, college name, admission date, and passing date.
- Enter the registration number of the candidate with which he/she is registered with the Nursing Council of India/State Nursing Council.
- Select the name of the State Nursing Council and enter the date of issuance of the registration number.
- Pay the application fee as per category through online mode.
- Upload a photograph, signature, and thumb impression of the candidate in the specified format.
- Download and take a printout of the AIIMS NORCET 8 Application Form 2025 for future reference.

Important Note: The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Mode with a total of 100 MCQ-based questions. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. A negative marking of 1/3 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Faqs
The age of the candidate must be between 18 to 30 years as of March 17, 2025. There is an age relaxation for certain categories as per government rules (e.g., OBC: 3 years, SC/ST: 5 years, PwBD: 10 years, etc.).
The exam will consist of two stages:
- Stage I: Computer-based test (100 questions, 100 marks, 90 minutes).
- Stage II: Computer-based test (160 questions, 160 marks, 180 minutes). Negative marking of 1/3 marks will be applied for wrong answers.
