Passing Criteria for MP 5th & 8th Class Exams

To be declared successful in the 5th or 8th Class exam conducted by RSKMP, the following passing criteria must be met:

  • A student must obtain at least 33% marks in each subject. The theory exam was conducted for a total of 80 marks, so the student must score at least 24 marks in each subject to pass.
  • In the internal assignment, which is worth 20 marks, students must score at least 7 marks (33% of 20 marks).

Students who fail in one or two subjects will be given a chance to appear for the supplementary exam. However, students who fail in more than two subjects will need to appear for the regular exam next year for the same class.

What’s Next After the Result?

The result available online will be provisional. Students will receive the original marksheet from the school they are admitted to within four weeks after the result is published. As the result is expected to be released on 28 March 2025, students can expect to receive their original marksheet from their school by the last week of April 2025.
