As per a press release shared on 19th March 2025 on social media, a total of 1461 posts were announced for ALP posts in East Coast Railway, and the minimum is 100 for North Eastern Railway. The short notice released on 24th March 2025 in the employment notice mentions a total of 9970 Assistant Loco Pilot vacancies are expected to be released for the upcoming year.
