RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Analysis 2025
Overview
A total of 266,439 candidates were declared qualified in the CBT 1 Exam and have scheduled the CBT 2 Exam for them on 19th and 20th March 2025 in total 4 shifts. The duration of each shift is 150 minutes (2.5 hours) which is subdivided into 90 minutes for Paper 1 and 60 minutes for Paper 2.
The minimum qualifying marks for Paper 1 are as follows:
- UR & EWS: 40%
- OBC (NCL): 30%
- SC: 30%
- ST: 25%
For Paper 2, candidates must score at least 35 marks (for all categories).

The questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and Basic Science and Engineering were of moderate level, with some questions being time-consuming. The questions from Paper 2 (trade-related) were of moderate to difficult level.
