How to Check CBSE 10th Class Result 2025
Candidates who appeared for the 2025 10th class board examination can check their results online on the CBSE website. Follow the steps below:
- Visit the official CBSE website: cbse.gov.in.
- Click the result option to land on a new page.
- Look for the “Secondary School Examination” or “10th Class 2025 Result” direct link in the latest news section.
- Click the link, and a new page will open. Enter your roll number, school number, DOB, admit card ID, along with the security pin.
- Once you submit the details, your CBSE 10th class results will appear on the screen.
- Save the digital version of the result or take a printout for future reference.
Result via SMS
If students are unable to access the result online due to high traffic, they can use the SMS service:
- Open the message app on your mobile phone.
- Type a text message: CBSE10 Roll Number DOB School Number Centre Number
- Send it to the CBSE SMS service at 7738299899.
- The board will respond with your results.

Passing Marks
To pass the 2025 CBSE 10th class examination, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject and overall marks. If a student fails by a small margin, the board may award grace marks. Students who fail in one or two subjects can appear for the supplementary exams.
The supplementary exam for the CBSE 10th class is scheduled for June/July 2025, and the results will be announced in August 2025.
Re-evaluation Process
Students who are dissatisfied with their 10th CBSE board marks can apply for re-evaluation. The application process will open a week after the result declaration. The processing charges are:
- ₹100 per question for re-evaluation.
- ₹500 per subject if you want to obtain a photocopy of the evaluated answer sheets.
The re-evaluation results will be released in July 2025.
Mark Sheet
After the result declaration, students who pass the examination can collect their original mark sheets from their schools around June 2025. The schools will distribute the provisional mark sheets, and the original mark sheets will be sent by the board.
