On March 28, 2025, Calcutta University announced the results of the BA and B.Sc. (5th Semester) Hons, Gen & Major CBCS Examination 2024. CU students who took the semester exam are currently awaiting the results of their first, third, and remaining fifth semester undergraduate courses. In February 2025, Calcutta University administered the undergraduate semester exam under CBCS. The remaining semester and course results for CU students who took the exam should be available in April 2025.

The students of Calcutta University can check their results for the CBCS Semester Examination 2024 through the official portal (IndiaResults) or the CU Exam website. The results for various semesters will be declared in stages.

Passing Marks

To pass the CU CBCS semester examination 2024, you need to obtain at least 40% marks in each paper/course, including internal assessments. For courses with both theory and practical exams, the following applies:

For other semesters (1st, 3rd, and 5th), the statement of marks and the original mark sheet will be available at affiliated colleges within a month of result declaration.
