Vacancy Details

1. Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer: 56 posts

2. Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner: 74 posts

Eligibility Criteria

1. Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from recognised university or institute.

2. Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner: Degree of a recognised University or Equivalent.

Selection Process

A pen & paper based Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) to shortlist the candidates for Interview for recruitment to the posts of Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officers and Assistant Public Provident Commissioner shall be conducted by the Commission. The date of examination will be intimated later on UPSC website.

 

Application Fee

Candidates who want to apply for the posts will have to pay application fee of 25/- either by

remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment. Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university; candidates for APFC may advantageously hold diplomas in Company Law, Labour Laws, or Public Administration

  • Age Limit (as of application closing date):

    • EO/AO: Maximum 30 years

    • APFC: Maximum 35 years

    • Age relaxations available as per government norms (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD, ex‑servicemen, EPFO employees, etc.)

  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹25

  • SC / ST / PwBD / Female candidates: No fee

  • Payment via debit/credit card, net banking, UPI, or SBI challan where applicable


Selection Process & Exam Pattern

  • Phase 1: Written exam — Objective‑type Test (300 marks, 2 hours) covering general English, current affairs, labour laws, accounting, statistics, computer applications, and more 

  • Phase 2: Personality Test (Interview) – 100 marks

  • Followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination post-selection
