What’s New: Final Phase Schedule Revised
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released a revised schedule for the Final Phase of the TG ICET 2025 counselling for MBA and MCA admissions. The updated dates shift several tasks so candidates can comfortably complete steps like registration, verification, option entry, and reporting. The revised schedule begins September 15, 2025.
The schedule change was necessitated because many candidates apparently missed deadlines or were unable to complete earlier phases fully, so this final phase gives a last opportunity to secure admission.
Important Dates: TG ICET Final Phase Revised Schedule
Here are the key dates you need to know for the final phase:
| Activity | Date(s) |
|---|---|
| Registration (Online filing of basic information, payment of processing fee, slot booking) | September 15, 2025 |
| Certificate Verification (for candidates who already have slots booked / for newly slot-booked) | September 16, 2025 |
| Option (Web Options / College & Course Preference) Entry | September 16-17, 2025 |
| Freezing of Options | September 17, 2025 |
| Provisional Seat Allotment Result | On or before September 20, 2025 |
| Tuition Fee Payment & Self-Reporting (Through Website) | September 20 to September 22, 2025 |
| Reporting at Allotted Colleges | September 22 to September 23, 2025 |
So make sure to mark these dates clearly, especially September 15 for registration and slot booking, as other steps follow shortly thereafter.
Who Is Eligible & Who Should Participate
If you’re planning to take part in the TG ICET final phase, you should check whether you fall into any of these categories:
Candidates who did not secure a seat in earlier rounds of counselling.
Candidates whose certificates were verified but who did not exercise web options or whose options were not considered earlier.
Those who got a seat but want to upgrade — i.e., participate in final phase to get a better college/course.
If you already accepted a seat, reported, and satisfied the admission requirements, you may also take part in final phase if upgrading is allowed under the counselling policies.
How To Register: Steps to Follow
Here are the steps you must follow to take part in this final phase of counselling:
Visit the official TG ICET counselling website: tgicetd.nic.in
Click on the “Final Phase Registration” / “Apply for Final Phase Seat Allotment” link that becomes active on or after September 15.
Fill in your basic details, upload necessary data, and pay the processing / registration fee.
Book your slot / helpline centre for certificate verification. If you already booked a slot earlier, you may directly go for verification.
Participate in web options entry (choice filling) between September 16-17. You’ll select courses and colleges as per your preference.
Freeze your options on September 17. After freezing, options cannot be changed.
Once seat allotment is done (on or before September 20), pay the tuition fee and self-report via the portal between September 20-22.
Report physically at the allotted college between September 22-23 with required documents.
Documents Required for Certificate Verification
When you attend certificate verification (or at the allotted helpline centre), you should have the following documents in original + photocopies:
TG ICET 2025 Rank Card and Hall Ticket
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certificate / provisional certificate
Intermediate / 10+2 mark sheet & certificate
SSC / 10th certificate (for date of birth verification)
Valid photo ID (Aadhaar / Passport / Voter ID etc.)
Caste / Category certificate (if applicable)
Residence / Domicile certificate
Any other certificate required for reservations (e.g. EWS, PH, NCC, CAP etc.)
Things to Watch Out For
Do not miss the registration date (Sept 15) — if you delay, you may lose your chance in the final phase.
Freezing options is strictly by September 17, so make sure your college/course preferences are final by then. Once frozen, they can’t be changed.
Pay fees promptly when required (Sept 20-22); non-payment may result in cancellation of seat.
Reporting at the allotted college within the window (Sept 22-23) with all original documents is essential for admission confirmation.
If seats are not claimed or documents are not verified, the seat may be reallocated.
Where to Find the Official Notification / PDF
The revised final phase notification PDF is uploaded on the TG ICET counselling site: tgicetd.nic.in under the “Notifications / Counselling → Final Phase Revised Schedule” section.
Candidates should download that PDF and read all details (eligibility, fee, process steps) so no step is missed.
Tips to Maximize Chances
Before option entry, check seats availability and cutoff trends of previous rounds to make informed choices.
Prioritize course & college preferences wisely; pick backup options to avoid ending up without a seat.
Keep all documents ready in good condition to avoid issues during verification.
Keep track of notifications via the official TG ICET portal; sometimes additional instructions or corrections may be released.
