On April 6, 2025, the Madras High Court announced the opening of the application period and the issuance of the notification for a number of positions, including office assistant, residential assistant, personal assistant to the Honorable Judges, private secretary to the Registrar General, and many more.
Interested candidates should apply online by May 5, 2025, and pay the application fee by May 6, 2025, in order to be considered for the MHC recruiting drive for these different positions. Notifications indicate that the MHC intends to use this recruitment effort to fill the 439 open positions.

Eligibility Criteria
Below are the eligibility criteria for the various posts in the Madras High Court recruitment:- Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 18 years old as of 01 July 2025. The upper age limit is 32 years for unreserved categories and is relaxed up to 37 years for reserved categories and 47 years for in-service candidates.
- Educational Qualification:
- Posts under 72/2025 and 73/2025: Minimum qualification of VIII pass or equivalent, up to XII standard or equivalent.
- Posts under 71/2025: A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, or any other discipline from a recognized University.
