KPSC KAS Prelims Exam 2024-25 Result Update

The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) conducted the Karnataka Administrative Services (KAS) Prelims Exam 2024 in offline mode. The evaluation process is expected to take around four weeks, and the result is likely to be declared by the last week of February 2025. Once released, candidates will be able to verify their qualification status.

Overview of the KPSC KAS 2024 Exam

The official notification for the KPSC KAS Exam 2024 was issued on March 4, 2024. Candidates could submit applications until April 15, 2024 via the official KPSC portal. Admit cards for the Prelims were released on December 20, 2024, and the exam was held on December 29, 2024. The selection process consists of three stages:
  • Preliminary Exam
  • Mains Exam
  • Interview
The Prelims phase has been successfully conducted. The result is awaited, and those who clear it will proceed to the Mains examination, followed by the interview round.

How to Check KPSC KAS Prelims Result 2024-25

  1. Visit the official website of KPSC: kpsc.kar.nic.in
  2. Look for the link titled “Karnataka Administrative Services Examination 2024” and click on it.
  3. Click on “List of Candidates Eligible for Mains Examination”.
  4. Download the PDF file and search for your hall ticket number.
  5. If your number appears, you have qualified for the Mains exam.

Expected Cut-Off Marks

The Prelims consisted of two papers, each worth 200 marks. Candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks in both papers to move forward. The expected cut-off for General category candidates is anticipated to fall between 82% to 87% aggregate score. Official cut-off details will be released along with the result.

What Happens After the Prelims Result?

Candidates who qualify in the Prelims will be eligible to appear for the Mains exam, which is likely to be scheduled in the second quarter of 2025. The exact dates will be announced by KPSC soon after the Prelims results are declared.
