Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the benefits:
Must be a permanent UP resident (proof via Aadhaar, ration card, etc.)
Family annual income ≤ ₹3 lakh
A maximum of two girl children per family; exceptions made for twins .
Age cut-off: girls born on/after April 1, 2019 receive full benefit; older girls receive partial support
Benefits & Milestone Installments
The total ₹15,000 is broken into 6 lump-sum payments tied to key milestones

FAQs
Q1. Can couples with twins claim more?
Yes — if the 2nd pregnancy has twins, the third girl child is also eligible
Q2. What about older girls born before April 2019?
They receive proportionate support – not the full ₹25,000
Q3. How many daughters per family are eligible?
Two daughters are the limit, except if a twin pregnancy produces an additional girl child .
Q4. How long must one wait for payment?
Amounts are typically released within weeks after milestone verification via the portal.
