What the Scorecard Shows (Details)
Your IBPS PO Prelims Scorecard will typically include:
Candidate name, registration and roll numbers
Section-wise marks: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability
Overall marks / total score
Qualifying status (whether you cleared prelims)
Category-wise cutoff
Other exam / recruitment details
Do note: For the prelims stage, IBPS usually does not count the marks toward the final selection — it’s only a screening stage.
Cut-Off & Qualifying Criteria
To be shortlisted for the Main exam, you must satisfy:
Sectional cut-offs: You must clear minimum marks in each section (English, Quant, Reasoning)
Overall cut-off: You must achieve the overall qualifying mark decided by IBPS
The category-wise cut-off will also be published along with the result / scorecards
Expect the cut-offs to vary by category (General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS) based on number of candidates, difficulty level, and vacancies.
What You Should Do Next
Now that the prelims result is out, here’s your roadmap:
If you qualified, shift your full focus to Main exam preparation (scheduled for 12 October 2025).
Study all sections especially Reasoning & Data Analysis, English, General Awareness / Banking Awarenessetc.
Acquire or revise previous year PO Main papers to get familiar with pattern.
Take mock tests and full-length practice tests under real exam conditions.
Keep an eye out for the Main exam admit card — usually released a few days before exam.
If you didn’t qualify, analyze weak areas, strengthen your foundation, and prepare for next attempts.
Things to Keep in Mind
Marks in prelims are not considered in final merit — only used for screening.
Some candidates’ result pages may not show marks immediately — sometimes scorecards (with section-wise marks) are released later.
Always verify your personal details (name, roll number, etc.) from the downloaded PDF.
Prepare all your documents / ID proofs for subsequent rounds (Main & Interview) early
