HPBOSE Supplementary Result 2025: Declared!

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has officially announced the Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Plus Two) Supplementary / Compartment / Improvement Results 2025. The results are out as of September 1, 2025.

These exams were held in July 2025 for students who either failed in one or more subjects in the regular board exams or opted to improve their scores. 

Important Dates & Exam Window

• Supplementary Exam Dates:

  • Class 10: July 22-28, 2025 

  • Class 12: July 22-25, 2025 

• Result Declaration:

  • Results released online on HPBOSE official portal on September 1, 2025. 

How to Check Your Result

Here’s a step-by-step guide to access your result:

1. Go to the HPBOSE official website: hpbose.org 

2. Click on the “Results” tab on the homepage. 

3. Find the link for “MATRIC Supplementary / Class 10 Supplementary Result July-2025” or “Plus Two Supplementary / Class 12 Supplementary Result July-2025”. 

4. Enter your roll number (and other required credentials, if any) and submit. 

5. Your result (provisional scorecard/marks) will appear. Check it, download it, and take a printout for reference. 

Additionally, results can also be accessed via SMS and DigiLocker for convenience. 

Passing Criteria

To qualify the supplementary examination, students need to meet the following criteria:

• Secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject. 

• Also achieve 33% overall aggregate across all subjects attempted. 

Those who achieve these benchmarks are declared successful in the supplementary exams. Students who do not will need to reappear in the regular examination cycle in 2026. 

What To Do After Checking Your Result

• Collect Original Marksheet: The online scorecards are provisional. Students must obtain the original marksheet from their respective schools once it is issued. 

• Stream Choice for Class 11: Class 10 students who clear the supplementary exam can now move forward and choose their stream (Science, Commerce, Arts) for Class 11. 

• Higher Education for Class 12 Students: Those who passed in Class 12 will be eligible to apply for undergraduate courses, entrance exams etc. Use the updated marksheet for applications.
