Bihar STET Important Questions 2025: 20+ Questions with Answers

Before jumping into questions, here’s a brief reminder:

  • Bihar STET (State Teacher Eligibility Test) is conducted by BSEB (Bihar School Examination Board).

  • It has Paper I (for teachers of classes 9–10) and Paper II (for classes 11–12).

  • Each paper contains 150 MCQs for 150 marks, duration 2.5 hours (150 minutes).

  • The question papers are divided broadly into:
      • Subject / Discipline section (relevant to the teaching subject)
      • General sections (GK, Teaching Aptitude, Reasoning etc.)

Given this format, it’s crucial to practice a mixture of subject questions and general aptitude / reasoning questions. Below are 20+ important sample questions (with answers) representative of topics that often appear in Bihar STET exams.

Bihar STET Important Questions 2025

20+ Important Questions (with Answers)

    Answer:

  6. In a missing-number pattern involving squares or differences, one option is 81. What logic leads to that?

Answer: Usually around 5 GK / GS questions.

  2. What is the importance of GK in STET?

Mixed / Coding‐Reasoning Type

  1. Code language question:
One example: “In a certain code language, ‘RIGIDS’ is written as ‘TFIFFP’. What is the code for ‘CORNET’?”
Answer (from sample question): ELTKGQ (Option 4)

  2. Rank / Position logic:
If a student is X from the top, Y from the bottom — find class size (X + Y – 1) — typical reasoning question.

  3. Clock / time angle problems – e.g. like question 4 above.

  4. Word transformation / grammar substitution – similar to question 9 or inverse / direct speech.

  5. Puzzles / patterns / number series — e.g. common difference / squares logic.

  6. Logical relationships / analogy / coding decoding as in coding language questions above.

  7. Subject specific MCQs (for those taking Paper II) — e.g. history, economics, mathematics, etc. One must prepare these based on the subject syllabus.

Tips on Using These Questions Effectively

  • Time yourself when solving a set of 20 MCQs to simulate exam pressure.

  • Analyze your mistakes — especially in reasoning or coding logic, understand why a wrong option seemed plausible.

  • Mix general + subject questions in practice sets so you improve on both fronts.

  • Use previous year papers extensively — these questions above reflect the patterns observed in past STET exams.

  • Revise GK regularly — even though GK is a small part, correct GK can give you full marks in that section.

  • Memorize formulas / shortcuts for time, clocks, rank logic, coding — these come handy under exam pressure.
