Registration Deadline Extended
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially extended the application deadline for the Class 10 scholarship and incentive schemes to 15 September 2025. Eligible students now have one final chance to apply.
Who Is Eligible?
General category: Students who passed Class 10 in first division in 2022, 2023, or 2024.
SC/ST category: Students who passed in second division are also eligible.
Scholarship Amounts
First Division: ₹10,000
Second Division (SC/ST): ₹8,000
These amounts are directly credited to the student’s Aadhaar-linked bank account via DBT.
How to Apply
Visit the MedhaSoft portal: medhasoft.bihar.gov.in
Click on the Mukhyamantri Balak/Balika Protsahan Yojana link.
Register using your Class 10 roll number, date of birth, and mobile number. A User ID and Password will be sent via SMS or email for logging in.
Log in using these credentials and fill in the application form with personal, academic, and bank details.
Upload the required documents:
Class 10 marksheet
Aadhaar card (linked to the bank account)
Bank passbook or account details
Bihar domicile certificate
Category certificate (for SC/ST)
Passport-size photograph
Submit the form and download the acknowledgment receipt.
