If you are one of the thousands of students who have participated in the 12th class exam organized by the JKBOSE, then you should be aware that the process of evaluation of answer sheets will take about four weeks. The results are expected to be announced by the end of April 2025.
Once the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) completes the evaluation process, the 12th class results will be made available as marksheets on the official website. After the results are released, students can download their marksheets by entering their roll number and registration number.
How to Check JKBOSE 12th Result 2025?
To download or check the JKBOSE 12th Result 2025, follow these step-by-step instructions:
- Go to the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education at https://jkbose.nic.in/.
- On the homepage, look for the option titled ‘Result’ in the header menu-bar, and click on it to make visible other options.
- Now, select your division (Kashmir or Jammu), and click on the appropriate option to be redirected to the next page.
- Click on the option titled ‘View Result of Higher Secondary Part II (Class 12th) – Session Annual Regular 2025’ to proceed to the result checking page.
- Enter your Roll Number and Registration Number, and click the Submit button to view or download your result.

Passing Criteria
To be declared successful in the JKBOSE 12th Class Exam 2025, the following criteria must be met:
- Students must obtain at least 33% marks in each paper, both in theory and practical (if applicable).
- For subjects with a practical component, students need to score 24 marks out of 70 (theory) and 7 marks out of 20 (practical), or 27 marks out of 70 (theory) and 10 marks out of 30 (practical).
- Students who meet the minimum requirement in either theory or practical will be considered successful in that subject.
What to Do if You Fail?
If students fail in one or two subjects, they can appear for the supplementary exam. Students who fail in more than two subjects will need to appear for the regular exam next year.
What’s Next?
After the results are declared, if any student is dissatisfied with their marks, they can apply online for the rechecking of their answer sheets. The application form will likely be available for 7 to 10 days after the results are announced, and a revised result will be released after the rechecking process is completed.
The result released online will be provisional. Students will receive their original marksheet and provisional passing certificate from their school within four weeks after the result is announced. The physical mark sheet will have the same details as the one available online.
