Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the 2025–26 YASASVI Scholarship, applicants must:
Be an Indian national belonging to OBC, EBC, or DNT/SNT communities.
Have an annual family income not exceeding ₹2.5 lakh.
Be studying in Class 9 or Class 11, enrolled in Top Class Schools (TCSs), which include government, aided, or private schools with a 100% pass record in boards.
Maintain at least 75% attendance in the previous academic year.
Not be a recipient of any other pre-matric scholarship.
There is no gender-based restriction, except that only two male students per family are eligible; female applicants have no limit.
Scholarship Amounts
The financial assistance varies by class:

This amount covers tuition, textbooks, uniforms, and other educational expenses, disbursed directly into the student’s bank account via DBT.

How to Apply
Register or log in via the National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in).
Select the PM YASASVI scheme from the list.
Fill in personal and academic details, including family income.
Upload necessary documents:
Aadhaar card
Income certificate
Caste/community certificate
Previous year’s marksheet
Attendance/bonafide school certificate
Bank account details linked to Aadhaar
Submit the form and download/retain the confirmation for reference. The application will then be verified by the school and relevant nodal officers.
Selection Process
No entrance test is required in 2025—the YASASVI Entrance Test (YET) has been discontinued.
Applicants are selected purely based on merit, determined by performance in the previous class exam. State-wise merit lists are prepared, and scholarships are awarded accordingly. Verification by schools and state officials ensures transparency.
